Built in 2004 and fully refurbished in 2023, Monserrat is a great mid-range Galapagos yacht option. Officially first class, the yacht has a total capacity of up to 16 guests. The Monserrat’s guide-to-passenger ratio of one guide for every 8 passengers is one of the best in Galapagos, making this yacht a great option for guests. There are 10 cabins in total, spread over two decks with lots of comfortable deck space, a friendly crew and good local operation. The yacht also offers stand-up paddle-boarding as well as kayaking.

Itinerary

Monserrat offers 4 standard itineraries of 4 and 5 days which can be combined to form itineraries from 7 up to 15 days. We are able to offer advice on which itinerary to choose depending on the time of year and the wildlife you want to see. Departures are every Thursday and every Sunday and itineraries offer plenty of snorkelling options. We particularly like the combination of itinerary D with A – which includes Fernandina, Isabela and Genovesa in an 8 day cruise.
