Totally refurbished in 2022 to offer comfortable accommodation and great social areas, Galaxy Orion is run by a well-respected local company who we work with very regularly. This yacht offers excellent value relative to the quality. Smaller in capacity than most other yachts now operating in Galapagos, it is for up to a maximum of 14 guests. The 8 cabins are spread across the lower, main and upper decks and are a mix of double and twin beds. Whilst the social areas are smaller than other yachts it offers exceptional value.

Itinerary

Itinerary A - 4 days

This 4 day itinerary includes the beautiful island of Espanola, as well as Floreana with lots of Galapagos wildlife above the water and one of the top snorkel sites in Galapagos. It also works wonderfully if you want to combine it with a stay on San Cristobal Island before the cruise begins or Santa Cruz Island at the end.

Itinerary B - 8 days

The western islands have a pristine untouched quality and receive a double dose of upwelling (from both the Humboldt and Cromwell Currents) and as a result there is cool nutrient rich water, which makes for abundant marine life, in the form of colonies of penguins, Flightless Cormorants, Marine Iguanas, dolphins and whales. This excellent 8-day itinerary also includes Genovesa (Tower) in the North – one of the outpost islands for seabirds – so 3 of the 4 highlight islands in 8 days, which is pretty much as good as it gets!

Itinerary C - 5 days

This 5 day itinerary focuses on the central part of Galapagos with a wonderful mix of Galapagos wildlife. It works particularly well for guests who want to spend time either before or after (or both) on the inhabited islands of Santa Cruz (where the cruise begins) or San Cristobal (where the cruise ends).
