The newest motor yacht in Galapagos, Angel launched in April 2024 to carry 16 passengers and is a replacement for the Angelito (one of our favourite yachts over the years!). Angel was purpose built in the Netherlands for Galapagos cruising. All cabins have panoramic windows, lots of great deck spaces including a Jacuzzi on the sundeck, indoor and outdoor dining areas and built-in stabilisers for a smooth ride. Angel boasts excellent itineraries, great Galapagos National Park guides and our favourite feature is that it is owned and run by a local family who are very hands on looking after it and with a real family feel on board.
Angel offers two excellent 8-day itineraries and we can recommend which one will best suit your interests and the time of year that you are travelling. They also offer 4 and 5-day cruises and these can be combined to make an 11, 12 or 15 day cruise if you want to spend longer in Galapagos.
Social areas for guests include a sundeck with Jacuzzi, al fresco dining area, bar and comfortable lounge. Activities on board include snorkelling (wetsuits provided) and kayaking.
