Galapagos Islands – wildlife heaven

The Galapagos Islands are part of Ecuador and are situated in the Pacific Ocean about 600 miles off the west coast of South America. The archipelago was formed by volcanic activity and consist of 19 islands plus many more islets. Thanks to a lack of predators, the wildlife in Galapagos has no fear of humans, making it one of the most magical places for animal lovers to visit. Read on for all you need to know about the Galapagos.
