Lake Titicaca

The highest navigable lake in the world, and a lake of myths and legends for the Inca and Aymara cultures, Lake Titicaca is situated between the borders of Peru and Bolivia at 3,800m above sea level.
Spanning approximately 170km in length it is South America’s largest lake where many locals inhabit traditional floating man made islands.
