Galapagos Birding Tours
Ever since Darwin’s publication of his seminal work on natural selection, Galapagos has been renowned as a showcase of evolution and a must for any naturalist and birder. Our handpicked selection of Galapagos yachts give you the chance to see an excellent selection of the 25 endemic birds of Galapagos, offering close encounters with spectacular birds like the Waved Albatross and Flightless Cormorant, as well as iconic birds like Darwin’s Finches and the chance to snorkel with penguins. We always go the extra mile to create exceptional birding holidays in Galapagos and mainland Ecuador for each one of our guests.
In mainland Ecuador itself, birding in South America really doesn’t get much better. Less than twice the size of England, it has over 15% of the world’s bird species with 1600 species recorded to date. What makes it so exceptionally rich in different bird species is the range of altitudes from tropical rainforests, to cloud forests and the high Andes, and birding here is relatively easy.
A selection of our favourite Galapagos yachts, hand picked for their superb itineraries, great crews and most crucially, their knowledgeable naturalist guides.
Our ‘sister’ website, Think Birding, provides much more detail about our dedicated birding itineraries in mainland Ecuador and our team of top birding guides.
