Amazon Rainforest Extensions

The most vibrant, complex and diverse ecosystems on earth, tropical rainforests cover just 6% of the Earth's land surface and yet are believed to contain at least half of all the species on the planet.

Just a short flight across the Andes from Quito, Ecuador's corner of the Amazon Rainforest is home to some of the best lodges in the Amazon Basin. The three lodges we work with are the award winning Napo Wildlife Centre, La Selva Lodge and Sani Lodge. They all offer spectacular wildlife viewing, superb service and great levels of comfort and are 100% owned and operated by the local indigenous community.  We recommend a minimum stay of 4 or 5 days. If you don’t have enough time, Ecuador’s Cloud Forest is a great alternative.
